AI4Health: Kick-off

We live in exciting and challenging times. Artificial intelligence in healthcare is up and coming and already brought us many benefits. But it can do even more, AI can help us to anticipate diseases, lower administrative burden of healthcare providers, get faster and more accurate diagnoses, help develop new treatments and so on!

If we want to unlock all of this potential, much work is yet to be done. This is why a vertical has been created within the AI4Belgium initiative specific for healthcare, namely AI4Health. This broad platform aims to bring together hospitals, healthcare providers, companies, policy makers, knowledge institutions and all other stakeholders.

With your help, input and expertise we would like to tackle today’s problems that slow down the adoption of AI. Increase knowledge of this beneficial technology. All whilst keeping a close eye on the ethical aspect.
